There seems to be a story gathering momentum about a club breaching the rules regarding Dual Registration and the number of required games to play after the deadline, people are suggesting Batley for fielding Fairbank at Sheffield last weekend.

On the Hull site suggesting the Dons also , Ben Crooks had only played twice before the 25th July 2014.

Someone ( not in an official capacity ) told me they only had to be in the squad for a match to count !

Yeah, I think that covers non-playing subs, though. Not players who don't make the XVII.

Whoops! This could get messy,could it not. Are the dual reg rules the same as last season when we had Wakey players,if so it's hard to comprehend that this is an error on our part. If this is a typical RL rule change then NASA would struggle with the complexity of it.

 Dual Registered Players who have a Salary Cap Value of £20,000 or more i.e. those who receive a category A, B, C or D classification, must have played in at least three League or League Cup fixtures for the Championships club that season before the end of season registration deadline which applies in that Competition in order to play in games which fall after that deadline whether they be regular season or Play Off games.
