Just noticed Wigans fixtures before wembley dobbins, hudds ,and cats away week before final .

Three tough games and two big packs wonder if Wigan will rest players before the final .

Our games Widnes dobbins and Salford think last game before final could rest a few players if any knocks from derby game .

Wigan will send the kids to Catalans. Guaranteed 30 degrees heat added to the journey. Not good prep for the Final.

I thought our SL season was over when we reached Wembley. Difficult to motivate the players, players not wanting to pick up injuries, maybe rest a couple etc etc etc. That was until AP made his statement that included we need to transfer the cup form into the league because it just has not been good enough. Just puts a little pressure on PG to make sure we finish the season well, making the 8 and competing well in the play offs. AP made it pretty clear that reaching Wembley on it's own is just not good enough!!! So we may well kick on now and take some form to Wembley with us......

Yep, agree with you on that, think Wane will go all out to beat yourselves and Hudds and then send a near enough reserve squad to face Catalans



FC will likely only leave out anyone who is carrying an injury as we need to ensure a top 8 finish which is far from certain at the moment

We can't write off the league and should put out our strongest team in every match to try and get some form and some momentum going into the Cup Final.



However we should not play anyone who is not 100% fit. We have the squad depth not to have to risk injured players.

I agree any slight knocks and a player should be rested, but the rest should be playing week in week out. I think I would want to be playing as there are some fringe players who if given a chance will want to make a claim to a place in the final 17.



We have to make the play offs whatever happens at Wembley.

Its the derby that worries me so far as picking up injuries are concerned. Horne got injured at Magic and hasn't played since. I also recall we suffered up a couple of longish term injuries in derbies last year.

Glad that the derby isn't the week before the final. We managed to beat Salford with a lot of injuries earlier this year so would be tempted to rest some players for that game

We won't beat rovers but should beat the other 2. Will be a hollow victory for the dobbins though which no one will care about as we're gonna wmbley

Wrong there Jake. Don't forget this will be their cup final and everyone knows its far more important to them than Wembley.
