May be he will, but it sticks two fingers up to the Widnes fans who have claimed for a while that Tickle had already signed.



That is simply not the case.



If he does go, fair play to Danny. He has been brilliant for us. His kicking alone has won us a fair few games.

I think he will go.



He'd be leaving at the end of next season anyway for nothing so if the club can get a good deal on a transfer fee then we should take it.



Hopefully we have someone like Whitehead signed to replace him.

When did rugby league suddenly become like football?! Very rarely do you see transfers in our sport. Suddenly we've had tons over the space of a year!

Yes seems hardly a coincidence, no doubt he will be in the stands this evening. My guess is the story has been rolled out very deliberately, since I reckon the issue of the fee is not new, as it has been mentioned by several posters in the past on our TIW Site and on here.



There were very high level nods and winks that he had signed for us from within the Club, but that may well have related to him being happy with the suggested terms of a contract, in the event of Hull being prepared to sell him etc etc as we go through this "Phoney War" period of not being able to say anything about signings until September, which you are suffering from more than most!

I would expect that It's a done deal and Hull are releasing this to the media so it looks like we're not letting one of our top players go without a fight.



Some Hull fans will not be happy that we are selling him.



If he does want to go to Lancs then fair enough, he's done a great job for us and hopefully we get want we want for him and a new young 2nd rower (Whitehead)
