Creative accounting by a certain miffed party to ensure no profits for the council?

it does seem quite rediculous that they have been renting offices in their own building for a more than market rent, I think it goes to show just how stupid people in Hull City Council are.

Quite simply the SMC should be independently owned and run. City owners like Duffen and now the Allams just use it as a way of swelling their own clubs coffers with Duffen borrowing against it previously to get cash for City which is clearly wrong and something should be done about it but wont be

This is one area i think AP needs to have a rant on, or at least open up. He has shown how Kath and Rule did us, now he needs to show just how much of a mill stone that user agreement is.

it doesn't strike me that it's anything of the sort.

"we cannot offer ticket discounts due to the user agreement" as we have been fed many a time



£24 a game is too much for the fodder served up.



Many on here, "claim" the club earns nowt from bar takings etc

we now offer reduced and family tickets



if we want players like Ellis and Chase, that's the price (minimum) I am afraid



the concessions and their income are not managed by FC, this is fairly standard in modern stadia

Why does the article keep mentioning football players wages in relation to profit/income from the stadium.

1, We offer a price freeze, some reductions, not wholesale, like the "big one" at Wigan.



2, Yes i agree, Ellis and Chase etc, but current pricing has been set by the previous lot, AP kept it the same (for Jamie Eillis)



3, Really? Well we do get takings from the concessions. Just its capped at our takings from Boulevard levels (based on a 6900 average)



My original point was to see what we do pay to the SMC, and answers on the ticket question. AP hasn’t mentioned reductions per say recently. He did mention a renegotiation of the User agreement at the start of his reign, this has not happened, has it?

I'd be amazed if that's true, even more so that you know the exact figures involved.







Why do we need to know? What does it matter? We have a sustainable arrangement where by our revenue is sufficient to pay the rent and as a result we play in the best stadium in superleague.



What need's renegotiating? We're not going to get a rent reduction in a recession when the running costs will be escalating. That would be the only way we as fans could reap the benefits (ie. cheaper tickets) and it's not going to happen.

Your average attendance was a lot lower than 6900 at the boulevard in SL!!!!



It was more like 5500!!!!
