The number of City fans is irrelevant. If they word a referendum question intelligently they'll get a massive yes vote from the general public.

To be fair, being leader of a provincial City Council is not holding 'mighty political office' and neither is it any measure of relevance.

Quite who will oversee the wording of a referendum question, I have no idea but it is imperative that the voters of Hull have all the facts at their disposal, especially regarding what any money raised can be used for.
