| In the game at the KC we were offloading the ball for fun, today was totally different, I think it is a knock on effect from dropping the ball so much last week.

Backs barely got a running chance, thought our forwards went missing big style in the second half, including O'Meley. We seem more interested in playing the big man and trying to put in big hits rather than rolling our sleeves up and doing some proper work.

That's becoming a habit I think with the backs.

Well if it did, Taylor certainly wouldn't have got you them with his feeble effort on Moa. Shame these are two of the very little positives that came from the game for us. Thoughout Rovers defended well but we really should have taken our chances. Now go have some fun till next year

He got up, unhurt, so it wasn't as big a hit as you think

What would that matter? We don't cheer injuries anyway.

Since when does a big hit mean an injured player?

| That was a dire game and if you didn't know better, you would have thought it was the bottom two teams in the comp playing.
It was just an embarrassing display from us but nothing new to what we have become used to over the past few years under this coach. On paper I would consider most of our team today stronger than the team Rovers had out but we never have a game plan to make use of our superior players.
I have no doubt attack wise, we are the worst side in the league. Our dull brand of rugby gets us nowhere most of the time, other than exceptional individual efforts (usually by Manu) or Westerman today. Next to no dummy runners, no angles, poor support play, we are so easy to defend against. In the past the excuse has always been injuries to half backs, to an extent that applies to this year but for me it's not a valid excuse. Look at Saints most of this season, Huddersfield tonight had Brown missing but it didn't make one bit of difference, their attack was still exciting and effective.
Our kicking game also lets us down and has done for years. It took us until the last few minutes to put a bomb up to Colbon who is renowned for being extremely dodgy under the high ball and guess what, he got absolutely nowhere near it . The rest of the game was made up of nothing kicks along the floor or poorly aimed kicks to the corner, we're just not helping ourselves.
It's been said a thousand times but look what happened when Huddersfield, Wigan and Warrington got themselves a top coach, they improved beyond belief. We should be competing with those sides but we're so far short its not even funny anymore.
Oh and Jordan Turner shouldn't be allowed anywhere near stand off again. I can't remember him having one good game there so far and he's had enough opportunities. Back up centre or nothing for me.

It was a massive hit to be fair. O'Meley was calling out Netherton all through that set of 6. I can only imagine that Netherton had done something to him in the scuffle. To Nethertons credit he was happy to oblige, although he did come off second best!
The most noticeable thing for me though was that in Hulls next set of 6 O'Meley didnt give Netherton the chance for a square up and didnt even go near the ball.
I actually thought that he had taken over Gleesons right centre spot.
