I'll take that, there was never going to be a easy draw to be fair.

Correct everyone wanted the "easy" tie v Fev.
To be fair, they would raise their game for us, Cas and Leeds, so it might have ended up being a poisoned chalice.
Salford away (out of all the away possibilities) isn't the worst by a long stretch of the imagination.
We could turn this into a home fixture.

| We don't need to fear anybody and nobody in that draw would have felt comfortable if they'd drawn Wakefield Trinity.
We've been very good in every game bar Leeds away and for half an hour Vs Cas away.
We are a very good team and someone at some point is going to be unlucky to catch us on the day we string it together for 80 minutes.

| Its not the worst no, can't say I'm happy about it but I suppose you can only really hope for a home tie at this stage, if you don't get that it doesn't look as if it matters that much, ba Fev.
Dunno about the idea that Wire Wigan is the tie of the round ???, was that all about, Wire Wigan.....really ?, it Cas Codheads by absolute light years surely.
wire wigin......pfft

| This is a real test.
The 2 most improved teams in the league.
We need to be there in massive numbers as Salford struggle with their attendances.
I would politely ask MC to make this game as affordable to fans as possible by subsidising coach travel.
I think that we took 10 coaches to Widnes on their return to super league.
This is a big marketing challenge and a semi final spot would be a massive catalyst to the remaining season ahead.
Up the Trin. See you all in Newcastle next week. I have a car of 4 including 2 curious Barnsley residents.

What ruling the roost that's got us to 6th and made us competitive in nearly every match.

Agreed
Our style of rugby has been excellent and if Kear has been the reason for our improved defence, I'm all for it !.
We've only come under pressure when we have made an error and followed it be conceding a penalty on the back of it.
At the moment, there is only Cas that should hold any fear for us and their bubble will burst some time (hopefully).
Having said all that, Salford have shown some real quality and it will be a tough ask to beat them on their patch but, if we get plenty of support over there, we may be able to give our boy's the edge.
Come on Trin.

| Avoiding Cas, Hull or Wigan was the main objective IMHO. Salford away is a fair test but not impossible.
Not that keen on attending at the AJ Bell Stadium to be honest though. Hope we don't get a Friday night slot!

| You have to be good enough to beat anybody, home or away in my opinion to deserve to progress in the cup. Cas, Hull, Wigan or Warrington away would have been more formidable - no disrespect to Salford who have made big strides this season, it's just that I feel we have more chance against Salford than the others.
