| I'm sorry, but i'm not even trolling here: Ben Jones-Bishop looks absolutely pathetic. I might not watch him as much as you guys but from seeing some of his tackling attempts (or lack of) in your games this year i cant help but feel as if this guy is nowhere near good enough for Super League.
He looks feeble, uninterested and just soft and cowardice. He doesnt seem to talk to any other players so god knows how he organises the defensive line. He even looks scared of tackling players. I genuinely cant believe how bad he looks. The only thing his CV has going for it is that he once played for Leeds and he was eventually booted out of there as well for Tom Briscoe.
This might look like 'trolling' (as the kids seem to call anything with a negative opinion these days) but id love to know what your fans think of him. If there was a man you wanted as a last line of defence when someone breaks your defensive line for me Ben Jones-Bishop would be the last person in Super League id want to be relying on.
I know this sounds harsh but I suspect im not the only one who thinks this.

| Maybe another player in the long line for us who are just stealing a wage. Didnt he only come on the understanding that he would be the full back.
He has played under several coaches who have disagreed with the fact that he thinks he is a full back.
The phrase there is no bigger player than the club, and I buy into that.
I honestly think that he would serve us better, if he was on the wing, and would look a totally different proposition altogether

| Completely the wrong kind of player for a club like Wakefield. Wakey need grafters and players with heart and resilience. Smith got his recruitment horribly wrong barring Tupou and arona

So Anthony England, Scott Moore and Stuart Howarth were poor signings then?.....

| England I'll give you, Moore hasn't played yet. Howarth is average, looked good because rest are so poor but he's a 110% man.

England is our best prop, Moore is injured but saved us in the MPG and Howarth is a player you described Trinity need...a grafter.

| Moore had a stinker in the MPG and then came up with the try that clinched it.

| Just because he's a grafter and what's needed doesn't make him a good player or a good signing

| Anthony Tupou is quality and would get in most superleague 17's.
England, Arona & Simon are good props and would probably get a place in some teams first choice of 4/5.
BJB decent winger in a good side, not what is needed in a struggling one. And not a first choice fullback anywhere.
Bill Tupou would be a handy winger if we played him therr, but hasn't got the skills or defensive nouse as a centre.
Johnstone is a work in progress and will probably end up fulfilling his potential elsewhere.
The rest of the squad aren't good enough for superleague, simple as. Some of them are triers yes but not up to standard.

| Its a shame with BJB, seen him do some handy work when we're going forward and he's steady under the bomb, but his impact on defence is poor. But with the squad we've got, what do you do?
Only sensible thing I can think of is BJB --> wing Hall ---> Fullback---Arundel ----> Centre.
