Why don't they just send the rest of their fringe players to us whilst we ship out our own young players?

A view I sympathise with but our youngsters didn't want to stay for the money that the club were willing to offer. I suppose this year its something we've just got to stomach in the hope that in future club trained players will form the backbone of the team.



Either that or they sign for Hull for a brief period then Agar will be all over them!

I can't help thinking that a Leeds fringe player will be better than a Wakefield fringe player.

In a season like this where we need to survive the drop I would be happy to accept their young players to give us much needed cover.

These have equal chance as our young ones for playing, Agar was competition in places..

I really don't get the point. There are no current youngsters at the club who are realistically good enough to lose out to Briscoe - I say this assuming he is a back and not a S/R as stated on the Rhino's site.



This point is becoming very laboured IMHO- if Anakin, Trout, Wildie and Wallshaw cement their places this season then that's a very good return from our Academy - I can't see Briscoe getting in the way of any of these players getting a chance as none are backs.



We need as many players as possible and I don't care where they come from.

I get the point, but as always its about opinion and I tend to agree that it sends out a message. It doesn't seem worth signing junior forms at wakey as they won't progress/promote you. Where's the faith? I accept this season may be difficult due to relegation, but what was the excuse during the franchise period?
