Overheard at the game last night we were in talks with Adam Robinson from halifax. Has anyone heard anything about this or is it just talk. Don't know much about him and can't see anything mentioned on the halifax forum

Biography

Robinson joined FAX from Batley, following the ex Batley Coach Karl Harrison. The hard hitting prop has made a name for himself for coming off the bench, and was looking to get back to full fitness after an injury hit 2011.



He joined Makali Aizue and Sean Hesketh as the impact props, coming off the bench and providing a platform for the Halifax Backs, but became an immediate hit in the second row and even at loose forward too in 2012. His hard tackling won over the Fax fans and he was rightly named "Star Man for 2012" at the Club Awards night

How big is the lad and how much does he weigh?

Is he the jinger lad, stocky chap.

Adam and his brother Craig (now at Doncaster) were stalwarts of our old Senior Academy/ A Team. Adam played centre in those days but has since moved into the front row via the second row.

Both lads were at Wakefield when an Aussie accent was more fashionable than a British one so never really got a chance. Craig I believe made one first team appearance and Adam none.

Adam is a good forward with reasonable turn of speed probably from his days at centre. How ironic if we had to pay a fee to get 'one of our own' back

Doubt it recently signed a deal with Bradford (1 year I think).

He plays Loose and can cover the halves too, good player and grew up supporting Wakefield I believe.

Out of contract at the end of this season. Also plays hooker if need be i think. Would be a better bet than Murrell would have been.

someone was telling me at the Salford game that Danny Kirmond was going to Wire with Westwood coming the other way....first id heard but whilst we're throwing rumours about....
