| Should have never been put up at this time of year. Andhey should keep it at those prices until the first week of January in case anyone gets any money for christmas they want to spend.

| But then no one would have bought before Christmas.
You have to give an early deadline so that you can get a rush on. Keeping Christmas as £150 will give another run on sales.
Still a massive saving at £150

| Anyone notice this bit...
'Silver and Bronze memberships are also on sale guaranteeing you pre-sale savings for just £30 and £10 respectively on all home Super League games, and are even better value in 2013 with adult prices on the gate increasing by £2 in the new season'
I can't see that going down very well! £22 to come to Belle View?!?

Bit steep that! I certainly would be pushing the silver and bronze memberships more on the back of that.

If they were for xmas presents they would! I take your point thought about finishing it on xmas eve, but I still would have refrained from putting the price up during 10 of the busiest shopping days of the year. I would still though like to see a discount weekend maybe early in the new year, give it one last push for people to sign up with any 'present' money, especially if the signings we are going for come off. The more money we get up front the better.

| The emphasis is to get people signed up as early as possible hence the early bird deals. If we offer too many discounts or offers once the deadline has passed going forward we'll struggle to entice people to part with there cash early if they think they're likely to get the same deal later on.
We need to continue to highlight the value in the early bird deal to continue to retain ST holders especially as prices will continue to rise with NM on the horizon

Players and staff still need paying wether it's wigan or wakey, plus other costs.I also agree it's a lot of money, but I'm afraid it's the sign of the times.

I fully expect to see a drop in crowd numbers now, I think it's a bad move charging £22 on the gate. I can see why they are telling us as home fans (so we buy the season ticket) but it will surely put away fans off visiting a ground they already thought was overpriced.

I don't.
The cost of running a business continues to rise, particularly in respect of paying utilities and salaries; it was inevitable that the cost of ground entry would have to go up sooner or later and this seems like as good a time as any, given that one of the main complaints about BV has been rectified, at no small cost to Mr Glover.
Maybe if more clubs did fantastic away day travel deals like we do, opposition fans could mitigate the increased cost of entry by saving on petrol?

While everthing you say makes sense and is true the 18th man is right, it will put away fans off.
A lot of fans have less money to spend and the cost of living continues to rise, it will put some off.

Let's not get carried away here Bren a roof at one end doesn't really put our ground on a par with any of the recently built ones. We still have the wonky terracing, painted brick walls for toilets, floodlights out, limited seating etc If you want to charge top dollar you have to offer top dollar facilities! You can sugar coat Belle View all you like but it's a bit of a dump, a dump we have grown to love but an old ground all the same. I appreciate it costs a lot to run a club but to get that cash you need to attract the customers, £22 entry won't do that.
It makes me think they regret selling the season tickets so cheaply and makes me worried about what they will try and charge for admission if and when we move!
