They wanted more than what the club were, rightly or wrongly, willing to offer. The loan is probably mutually beneficial. Trinity need cover, Leeds have a player who needs experience. As long as there isnt a mass influx ala Bradford then its no biggy.

FC kicked off big time when Briscoe went to Leeds so got to be something decent about this kid.

Not slagging off vasty questioning putting two 16yr olds in a first team squad,briscoe is 19 or 20given a 4yr contract at16 should have been pushing for a first team place at rhinos, the fact he's not shows me he's gone steadily downhill and my eyes didn't lie when I've seen him play,but eh let's see how he does might surprise me and the folk in charge can judge a player better than me

As far as I am aware people on this thread are duscussing the signing on loan of one (possibly two) signings reported in the local (YEP) press... An account which quotes their current boss (Gary Hetherington) in the process.



I am not sure what people are expected to discuss other than these issues...



Further I am not sure which of the thread topics causes your mirth... The reported signing of Briscoe, the reported snag with Keinhorst, the supposed lack of young talent,or he the plethora of young talent displaced by the supposed signing of the two loanees?



You are doing a good job at the club as are the people you have put around you... Don't spoil it by acting like an angry demigod. If the press have it wrong then say so simply and distinctly...

I respect your opinion. However if this is a forum, and open to discussion, then why can't I just state my point. Or am I not allowed to do that?

In my (respected) opinion the reason is simple... because you are different...

You can choose to do whatever you like, but the history of relationships between senior staff/owners and forums suggests you should be circumspect.

I just don't like things stating as fact when they are not. Yesterday's stadium stuff being a prime example?

I suppose it might help if the 'fact' you're taking issue with was more clearly highlighted?



I'm not fussed myself - this forum will always be an arena for flights of fancy and idle musings, and it only takes one 'fact' gleaned from a mate who is in the know over a couple of pints to spark off a multi-page debate, as if said 'fact' were indeed an actual fact, rather than just pub gossip dressed up as a fact.



One thing that's for sure - if you worry about correcting every idle rumour that's posted on here, you won't get much sleep over the coming season, and that IS a fact!
