With a player as young as that if its anything like football we wouldnt have had much choice we would just have to have been paid compensation by Wire depending on when he left.

I'm not sure if it is, he only left Wigan after the scholarship period ended. Pretty sure Warrington are paying him more, but if you had increased his wages you would have also had to do so with the other England Academy players. He's going to be a brilliant player though.

16 i think when he left it seems wigan wanted to pay him peanuts so wire steped in and offerd 4x the amount wigan were prepaird to pay

Think wire offered him a lot more money after the 16's scholarship games! What's the lad to do? Take the lots more money of course! And by all accounts he's progressed well through the ranks! Good on him! Gotta make money while you can I suppose and they are giving him the chance he probably deserves! He was one of wigans starlets in the 16's but didn't offer him what wire did! Sure it won't be the last time this happens!

Now TOMKINS - That's another matter altogether.

He's useless. Not even a very poor man's Danny Brough. Even the idiots on Sky don't big up Tompkins.
