St Eddies Yr 9's have a cup final against Lowton next week as well , either tuesday or Thursday at Wigan RU as far as i know , still trying to find out

, the team has a real chance of lifting silverware

Year 8's won the cup last week v Abraham Guest.



It looks a real hot bed of rugby tallent

coached by our very own ian gildart





had a massive influence on our team and seems so on the others.

He did a bit with them last season , but this year the 9's are being coached by a new P.E Teacher(who i think is leaving at the end of the year unfortunately) he's done a great job with them , there are some really good players as well in the year who play club Rugby at U14'S level, they now seem to be playing as a team

Yea that's him , good coach and nice bloke....The yr 9 final is on Thursday 5pm KO at Wigan RU, vs Rosebridge not Lowton

Well done to St Eddies yr7's and Yr 9's who won their respectiive finals at Wigan RU this evening ..the year 7's had a convincing victory over the deanery and the Yr 9's battled back to win a tough game aginst Rosebridge who were leading 14-12 at Halftime , the final score was 22-14 to Eddies...well done lads you deserved it and a special thanks to Mr J Griffin and especially Mr G Mannion who has given this side self belief

he is quite a nice guy to speak to and he's helped out with the y7's who seem chuffed to have him coaching them aswell glad the lads at all the age groups have done so wel and just hopin the y11's have a succesful time next week
