James Ford is a real flyer, very good odds at 12/1, certainly faster then Fox.

Not very.

He's quick over 40 - 50 metres though.

Sam Tomkins is faster over "the distance"

Stefan Marsh can also trap.

Shame it's not the same conditions as last time (100m and carrying a ball) so we could compare times. For interest, 2004's times were:

Darren Albert (St Helens) 11.365

Craig Calvert (Whitehaven) 11.593

Dave Doherty (Leeds) 11.667

It's between Penny and Donald IMO.

Don't Hull have a flyer in the academy who is 16 and can run 100m in like 11s.

I am glad Roberts is involved, we have yet to see how quick he really is.

Why is Calderwood not involved he is very quick over the full distance. Richards also another one who is quick over full length of the pitch, not many catch him.

I'd just like to say I couldn't give a flying toss who the league's fastest man. Speed is irrelavant these days with controlled restarts and the likes. A cr*p gimmick if you ask me!
