| Was in the East Stand on Sunday and noticed a load of our so called 'loyal fans' leaving with 20minutes left
 How can these people call themselves loyal fans? They are happy to stay till the end when Wigan are winning... Why not stay till the end? Regardless? For one, it was their first game of the season - Ok, we didn't play as well as we could have, but it annoys me to see these fans who call themselves 'loyal' and wear the '18' on the back of their shirts leave with a good 20 minutes to go? There's obviously no trust in the side also... with the score being at 12-6 aswell, clearly Wigan could have come back within those 20 minutes! Another thing which really did wind me up was when my friend shouted 'Call yourself Loyal Fans?' to a number of them leaving, and a man turned around and told him he'd be waiting for him when he left - Before hurling a s**t load of abuse back at him! These people aren't Wigan fans - A real fan is someone who follows the team through all the s**t...
Another thing I wanted to talk about was people saying Smith is rubbish - Obviously it's going to be hard to fill Barretts boots but come on, the lads played one game at 6? You can hardly rely on his performance last season when he'd had no preseason training and came on from sub - What cracks me up is the fact that you will all be licking his in a few weeks when he plays awsome.

Totally agree, but as has been mentioned on another thread most of these fans don't stay to the end whether we're winning, losing or drawing. Often wondered how much game time they actually miss throughout the season.
Personally i stay to the end whatever (sucker for punishment) and i could never boo no matter how disapointed i am. But that's just me and each to their own. Do think it was an over reaction yesterday though

We wasn't clueless - We knew what we were doing, but made too many errors - It had nothing to do with cluelessness - It was just easy mistakes, dropping the ball etc. Your not telling me that Wigan didn't stand a chance of winning that game - Had we not made as many mistakes we'd of won, simple as. It's nothing to do with cluelessness, more [ucarelessness[/u (and no, these aren't the same thing)
