....to be fed so little fr so long, I suppose it is only to be expected that the younger fans amongst us get a hard on for the merest glimmer of "positive news" from the Club, but in reality, we are absolutely ed in regards of being competitive in 2014.

Instead of brushing up on his CV, we should be getting daily updates from Gus regarding the new ground, the transport options to the Hive, the facilities etc....

.....even if he can't tell us how much our new landlord wants to charge fans for tickets (read that back to yourself to get a gauge on exactly how ed we are), he could be drip feeding us info on the Kit for 2014, new appointments at the club, Long's Bio, etc etc....



instead, we get nothing....until Tony Rea is let near a computer and regales us with his psycho-babble-bollox about being well position to pick up scraps from the table and having hunger players, which translates to guys who couldn't get a game at the other 29 pro teams in the game....AKA, the Dregs!



...but don't let me dampen your ardour young Michael. You and the Gooner carry on leading the clubs cheerleading corps and good on you for doing it, but don't expect a massive following or applause from those of us that can see exactly where this is heading.

Gutters mate! The only applause I want or expect is from the other fans who can be ar$s£d to turn up, why would I want any applause myself. I just find it incredibly frustrating that this is a FANS forum! why not rename it whingers and whiners forum.

As a club we are what we are, we have who we have running it and the players we WILL get out on the park are the ones we are gonna be stuck with. I am a rugby league fan through and through, the majority of the sport I have and still partake in is RL in one form or another.

In your words this season we are "loved"!!! fine, that's your view and yep maybe a few others view. But its rugby league in London at the standard I want to watch it, altho saying that I will go watch Oxford and participate at every level that I do. I remember the days before the internet, before fakebook, ter, hash tag or whatever, when I got my snippets of info about my club from the York evening press or the T&A or in the match day prog. If I want Longy's bio I know where I can get it, I don't need Gus to hold my hand and lead me from the bus stop to the Hive, I will find it. The website will be sorted when its sorted get over it, the club has more pressing needs at the mo and that's getting the squad together. ont get me wrong its not good, but as I said earlier its what it is!



So call it ardour or whatever you want, I call it being positive, its the way I approach every new season and have done for the nearly 50 years I have been watching the game.

So come on bring yr pom poms and join me and gooner and if your gonna have a ride you might as well get on the roller coaster rather than the kids ride

It makes no difference.....the issue is that THERE WAS NO NEED TO LEAVE THE STOOP IN THE FIRST PLACE AND ANY SUPPOSED SAVINGS IN RENT HAVE BEEN NEGATED IN GIVING UP ALL REVENUS STREAMS TO THE NEW LANDLORD.
