Ian Ramsdale on Twitter reports that Harrow Council yesterday upheld local residents' objections on use at the Hive. Apparently of particular concern was the use of a large stand and the power and angle of the floodlights. This does not bode well for the Broncos, is there a Plan B?

I think this was re an application to extend a stand and double the height of the floodlights. As such it probably doesn't directly impact us. It seems clear however that the last thing the locals want is more games played there. I doubt we'll we've made too welcome by them if we do move there.

I assume the possibility of our going to the Hive went hand in glove with the possibility of the Barnet owner providing new investment to the Broncos………with planning permission issues and local resident objections set to run and run, this surely is no longer a viable long term home option for the Broncos…………which also means the new investment will not be forthcoming either……..ergo, we are stuffed. I suspect Orient etc have been discounted because we will not have the funds to pay the required ground rent, what with DH likely to call it a day. I honestly think it`s game over and we will not have a club next year.

Soon you will be unable to do anything in this country, as residents will complain about everything, one time people just accepted what the council did, near us we had a development object on a former pit site, it was by the side of the M6, so they were going to build a direct exit/entrance to the motorway, it would have brought 4,000 jobs to and been a central hub for distribution for many companies, it all came down to around 25 houses/residents, not wanting it?

At the last home game, my mate who is well connected at Quins said we still had the offer to play at The Stoop (and in their view, we weren't being asked a huge amount of money to do so).



Whether that is still the case, I don't know, but one would imagine so.



Hope to see u and Mrs Quin at an LB game next year.

A more pertinent question would be, is there a Plan A?

That's my bet, another year at The Stoop so we can have another year prioritising a stadium move and achieving nothing.

For me, it was a big mistake telling fans about a proposed move last year.

What the hell has that acheived, apart from unsettling the fans? It's not like we have any real influence on where we play.



We will be playing at wherever is cheapest, imo.
