| Sat in the east stand yesterday, I was struck by the funereal atmosphere. When we went 12-0 up, I recall a couple of blokes towards the top of the stand getting up and cheering with us, but the vast majority staying in their seats and not saying a word.
Quite a few people sat around us appeared to be Leeds fans. Others had no colours on so it was harder to tell. Even when we went 26-0 up, there was very little chanting or noise beyond a general chatty hubbub. Couldn't hear much emanating from the west stand either.
This is worrying and possibly a side-effect of overdoing the free ticket bonanza, you get people sitting in the stand who aren't really bothered about what's actually going on. We're beating one of the best teams in the comp, coached by our old manager, and most people seemed completely non-plussed. Is this because we have nothing left to play for in the season? is it because we're going to stop being called Harlequins? I can't have been the only one to notice this yesterday. Obviously while we get so few people through the door The Stoop is never going to be an 'intimidating' atmosphere for away fans but they must wonder what's going on down here when they sit in the north stand coming off the coaches.

| I thought the same but I personally think it is because this one game does not change the fact that we have had our worst season ever.

| Everybody had become used to sitting silently in dejected misery this season. Yesterday we sat silently in stunned disbelief. There [iwere [i a lot more Leeds fans than usual sitting in the East stand, but I think part of the cause was the West stand being open. I know a lot of people prefer to sit there, but it divides our (limited) resources, so instead of 'one voice' it is now a fragmented voice. It can be difficult to hear what the opposite stand people are singing/chanting which makes it difficult to join in. Hard to see a workable solution apart from either close the West stand or find a couple of thousand new fans.

| I think it's down to how poorly we have played people can't be bothered to get excited, yesterday didn't feel as sweet as it should have for me because the rest of the season has been rubbish. We can get good atmospheres at the stoop, if you look back to the last time we beat Leeds at home, it was on sky, both stands were open and there was a great atmosphere for the whole game. This year has been reduced to a few people who sing the same songs whether it's the first minute or last and if we are winning or getting trounced. I did notice a few extra singers yesterday when we were winning comfortably and that was in the west stand

| Eh? There was plenty said, but you're right - it was very loud and seemed much more distorted (to me at least) than usual, therefore couldn't hear a word. The same applies to the post-match music. That also went on for much longer than usual and also was loud'n'distorted.

| Good to see we had one of our best wins errrr opps few wins this season!! and best performance by far for 60 mins anyhow, still not quite as good as the win at headingley
But strewth we have still found a reason to whinge
FWIW I actually moved away from the noisy lot sat in the West stand! Other half had a bad head by the way not my choice!!!
why so quiet in the rest of the stands? err maybe it was shock! or most folk maybe thought they were at the wrong game and a bit confused.
Strangely I thought this was a game we would win!!!
Double over Leeds makes the season ticket worth the money alone

| Sorry myself and Pedrolina have been away for all but one game this season as we have had a baby. Good news is he has a cracking pair of lungs on him and we will be back next season providing we are not the Aberdeen bears.

| One swallow does not make a summer, our fans have forgotten not just how to cheer, but what cheering is for, we need rehab. This name change thing has turned us all into zombies. Loved the 'Brian, Brian what's the score?' and 'You'll never win in London' form the West Stand though.
