I have a wedding in Harrogate on the Saturday so going up a day early to go to Headingley. First away game since 2008 so thought I should make the effort although I will be a bit of a norman no-friend at the game as I couldn't convince anyone to come.

I assume JJB will be able to play? I remember Beefy Botham Jnr having a cracker for us at Griffin Park against the Rhinos whilst he was on loan from them.

I can't make this one as I'm in Glasgow for the weekend, but I recall feeling similarly pessimistic for the same fixture last April. We'd been heavily beaten by Huddersfield the previous weekend and I was travelling direct fom Derby where I'd been watching the Derbyshire v Surrey cricket match, but our team came up trumps for a memorable victory.

Let's hope that Melbourne give them a very hard game on Sunday............then who knows!!!!!!

The way we're going at the moment the defeat may be so devastating that BM decides to walk rather than be pushed. Leeds by 60+.

There is a group of about 6-8 of us travelling up for the game and staying over at the adjoining lodge......at least with no travelling back till the following day we can numb ourselves with booze if we take a beating..Hopefully Leeds will be a bit jaded after their efforts tonight and we might just have a glimmer of an upset..

Cannot think of a better time to play the Rhinos 5 days after The storm will be very tough on their players.

Why would anyone want to spend their hard earned cash and a day from their annual leave watching a woeful performance. The team can be blamed for giving away stupid penalties and dropping the ball but the lads are not to blame where there is no leadership and no ideas. It is one out football all the way, we know exactly what is going to happen at each play of the ball and therefore so does every other coach in SL, it's not rocket science. BM is clueless, he is ruining good young players i.e. Club and LMS have gone backwards. Not so long ago we had 5 players in line for an England call up - LMS, Clubb, Orr, Melling and Purdham I doubt one of them would make it now. BM is taking everything backwards. Paul Blanchard is sorting out sponsorships and getting the back office on line but nothing will put bums on seat if the field product is as poor and woeful as it is currently. Get a new coach with new ideas and I can see this team achieving a few wins and creating a lot more excitment - which is badly needed. I am almost ready to wash my hands of the boredom and just stay at home, it doesn't affect the gate number as I have a season ticket and parking ticket and they are counted in the head count

Yup. This isn't new though, its been the same for 8 months at least, and now I fear it is too late.

I thought Warringtons thrashing was a low point but Fri seemed to top it. It was dreadful and to make it worse I had booked a room at the Headingley lodge for Fri some time back and have no choice but to go!!!



After Wire I said no more away games forgetting the arrangements for Fri!!!
