The West stand was okay, my season tickets are in the East, but have started sitting in the West because it's a better view (no sun in eyes, less spray when it rains). I'll admit I have been a bit more muted this season, I enjoy a bit of banter, but mindless ranting and raving doesn't do anthing for me, it's also annoying when I hear fans whine about stuff because they quite clearly don't understand what's going on (classic example was one fan who used to sit near me who constantly whined when we regularly kicked the ball dead for a 20m restart, he was reading it as a kick too deep, a mistake, when in fact it was a deliberate ploy to turn around better teams, and get them to attack from deep).

When the rain started they wrapped the speakers in bin bags to protect them from the wet, so everything was distorted, couldn't tell a word that was being sung or spoken. Hardly ideal if they had to evacuate the stand for any reason. As soon as the rain stopped, the bin bags were removed

Hopefully next season's seating arrangements will include a designated area like before for the Loyal & Loud brigade so everyone will know where to go.

Hopefully next year you can sit where you want.

Disagree. Season tickets are a significant revenue stream, and there are plenty of supporters who are prepared to pay more for the best seats.

Atmosphere has been terrible ever since we moved to the stoop

doesnt help that STH have had to change seats every year so dont get to know where to go if they wanna stand shout and drink beer or be surrounded by families more concerned with feeding the kids than watching the game.

Interesting to note that we win a game, the first one in ages, so people have to go and look elsewhere for a negative.

I don't think that:

a/ The OP was looking for a negative as such.....just pointing out that there seemed to be a lack of atmosphere.

b/ You would have to look hard for a negative if you really wanted one

Absolutely. If the Club does designate a L&L area then at least those that like to support in that way will know where to congregate so are all together, (and those that would prefer a quieter seat will know where to avoid !)

OP probably questioning an atmosphere that should(considering this seasons results) be buzzing when beating a half decent Leeds side, a time when you would see an atmosphere as a given.
