A sincere thank you to Derek Beaumont - you turned the dream into reality. It has not only been the financial input but equally importantly your enthusiasm, management style and the key people you have appointed.



There can't have been a better place in rugby league to enjoy the game since Derek picked up the tab for the players unpaid wages several years back - it seems a long time ago now but what a fantastic journey it has been. A season ticket at the LSV is, without any doubt, the best value for money on offer anywhere, for any sport.



Yesterday was another super human effort from the players. There must have been some busted bodies after the feat at Hull KR, just last week. The last 20 minutes yesterday must have been very tough indeed - everyone was surely running on empty. I reckon most of the fans were simiarly exhausted by the time the final hooter sounded.



It is very hard to single anyone out but Riddy reigned supreme throughout - a performance out of the very top drawer in all aspects of his game.



A massive thank you is also due to the coaching staff, so well led by Neil Jukes. The way we exploited their right fringe early on was brilliant. The tactic to hit Huddersfield with everything early doors and then hang in there, worked to perfection.



On behalf of all Leigh fans - many thanks to everyone connected with the club for a fanatastic day yesterday to cap the wonderful journey that we have been experiencing for several years now.

I concur , thanks Dereck for ignoring my advise to not get involved again , I thanked you after HKR and yesterday as well , your input both financially and with your boundless energy and enthusiasm cannot be quantified in what you , the club and the coaching/playing staff have achieved ,



It isn't over yet , Batley will come to spoil our party , John Kear will make sure of that , but we want to be going to Leeds looking to get a 7 from 7 record , we need fear nobody

He puts his money where his mouth is. Not afraid to make tough decisions for the good of the club and has a real passion for Leigh Centurions. Interesting to see who made the half time draw. Possibly someone to help with the financial burden of running a super league club?

I agree with every single word you have written there, PTB. Hats off to everyone involved in the last two or three seasons. Whilst it probably isn't fair to single out an individual, extra special praise to Neil Jukes, who certainly 'had greatness thrust upon him' and succeeded beyond anyone's wildest dreams.

Thanks Derek and the whole team, on field and off the field for making our dreams reality!



To anybody that doubted us...

Well done Derek, Neil, the coaches and the players on an outstanding achievement. Been to every home and away game this season and have loved every minute. I spoke to Derek at length earlier in the season about his vision and desire to reach super league. Loved his honesty and he really knows his stuff...a very smart and passionate man. He will ensure we have the infrastructure to stay in super league for a long time... take a bow Derek.

Has committed a lot of his time and money to building our dream.

Cannot thank the bloke enough along with all the others who have chipped in to get us in SL.

DB's enthusiasm is fantastic but more impressive is the way he has conducted his media this season, stopped doing oppositions coaches work for them and really delivered as a leader of our club.

These are fantastic times as Leigh fan and not many clubs have a 100% fan in charge who lets be honest is basing many financial decisions as a 'fan' rather than a 'businessman' which is fantastic news for all of us!

Yet again (as he has done EVERYTIME we have won something)he was thanking fans on the terracing personally yesterday - not many do that, indeed one of our own.

DB should be given the keys to the six vills - though we'd probably have to apply to the pah-ayters to get in through. The good times have been rolling for a fair while now, but the man really got his just desserts yesterday. Thanks for everything!



The recent additions played a massive part but great that a Leyther was unquestionably MoM. Riddy was fantastic.
