Chris Rowe! Where has he come from?

I thought he was fantastic tonight. Don't know how old he is but get him built up and he will be spot on. Thought Bricoe and Hoppy went well also.

He is going on Dual Contract to Wigan

The lads been knocking around our reserves for a couple of years now, a great prospect and lets not forget Briscoe is only 18 he has played three blinders pre season.

Can't believe Brfiscoe is only 18. Had a cracking pre-season.

It will be great for him, and will help him develop into a better player before coming back to Leigh. If tonights performance was anything to go by he will slowly work his way into the 1st team over the next few years. He had a hell of a match. Well done Chris, one for the future I reckon

Who was the player that Rowley said was going to Wigan this season? He mentioned it at the fans forum.

It was said that it was a possibility IIRC but no specific player/s was/were mentioned.

Not sure Fred but I had heard he was going on a 'reverse' Dual Contract to wi*an U18's as we have no reserves this year and with the amount of Second Rowers we have it's a good chance to keep him playing at a competive level seeing as he is unlikely to play 1st team with us this season.

To think we kept bringing the stump robbie paul back in for the lad pownall at the backend of the season no wonder the lad was peed off,if we play the kids instead of shipping in johnny third rate grade one time sub on the bench foriegner we may find there are actually talented enough
