There was none! As I was leaving the ground by car, the normal stewards were not present.



I think the situation was quite dangerous with the crowd mingling with traffic coming from two directions.



What happened?

They was all stood at the front of the stadium on the gravel. What where they doing? Just lazy gits getting money and staying away from the work

There is something wrong there. My thoughts were that they were told to hang around at the exit to look after Mr Hewer. He was given an escourt off the field and 10 mins before the end the stewards positioned themselves at the top of the steps near us. Mr Hewer needs to have a chat with himself.

Certainly the longest it's taken me to get off the car park after the game tonight (about 20 minutes), just put it down to it being an evening game and an above average crowd.

We never had these problems at HP .........never enough free car parking spaces.

Thats the second game running where the traffic control has been non existent.

I'll never forget the original Paul Rowley Testimonial in 2006, when Fax refused to play it, and we had to issue tickets to those in the ground before they could leave.



There were quite a few hundred, if not a thousand outside HP and the stewards met me at Chadwick Street, and cleared a path for my car through a sea of people, so I could get to the office. I felt really empowered that day! About a month or so later I was shown the door.

the players are getting their act together and playing really well,its a pity that the people running the stewarding part of things are getting it so wrong.nearly an accident on way out and parents having to dodge between moving cars with their kids shouldnt happen.oh can someone shed some light on why a pile of stewards were stood in the soiled area at front of stadium.

maybe they are not covered by insurances for clearing traffic? the only people in law who are legally allowed to stop a motor vehicle on a road is a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden on traffic duties, unless the law has changed since 1998/

they have done it in the past so must be covered

Maybe they have and have since been told they shouldn't be doing it?
