I've previously stated that I'm a great Watto fan and am not looking forward to us playing Swinton next season!

Yes, watto has been a true legend for OUR team.



Just wish the fuccer would have showed his loyalty and played against Halifax last week...couldn't be d getting back from holiday....perhaps he KNEW he was back off to the swinton

I will thank Watson for his services to our club over the last couple of seasons. However I will not say he has been our best or most inspirational player.

Look at Chris Hill, Jimmy Taylor, Adam Higson, Dave Mconnell, Aaron Smith, Dave Alstead and Martin Ridyard as better examples of this. Watson has been average but also had the opportunity to develop all our young lads including Hatton and Powell along with Hemmingway for a time. Unfortunately I don't think he trusted his young colleagues enough and decided to take all the responsibility of the half back berth as his own. This has proved detrimental not only to himself but to the team.

watson average, do me a favour, the guy has been nothing less than awesome, goodluck mr watson, you are a true professional, i just wish our club had signed you for next season.

Watson was on a prearranged holiday and would have returned had he had any chance of recovering in time. He has given 100% commitment since he came to this club so to say he 'couldn't be d' is ridiculous. He's hardly missed a game since he got here. By all means call his performances if that is your opinion (personally I think he has been one of our stand out players) but to question his commitment is insulting to a player who has given his all to our club.

Since when have facts got in the way of a good slagging off on here, shame on you

I'll say it again that I have knocked Ian more than most over the last two years but I would like to thank you Ian for sticking by a club that has not really stood by you. You have gone out week in week out and been a model professional. Today and in recent weeks you proved that and I would like to thank you for a superb performance today. All the best at Swinton and I'm sure you will return to us one day in some coaching role.
