Impressed with Chris Rowe, never heard of him before, but I certainly have now.

Hopkins awesome yet again - Right Pownall was full back, who was in the centre's with Littler, and who was wearing the no. 13 shirt - thanks in adavance.

We haven't got a single overseas player this year. Not one. Last year we had just the one, Robbie Paul. He's hardly a 'johnny third rate grade one time sub on the bench foriegner' is he!? He's a legend of the sport and a well known personality too.



Pownall will get his chance and I think it will be this season. Pownall to start on the wing for me with Maden on the other wing. They have been the strongest performers in the pre-season. Having Clay and McGilveray will mean there is competition for places which is always good. Pownall went round the very highly rated Matty Russell like he wasn't there tonight.



And Budgiezilla, Ricky Murphey was playing centre and 13 was (i think) craig briscoe.

And let's not forget that RHP was class on several occasions last year and had a big hand in winning some vital games, but don't let that get in the way of a rant!



I'll be honest and say I don't know what number Rowe was tonight? Tannoy was dreadful in the North Stand, barely heard the teams being announced.

Number 11, scored a try (our 1st?), made great yards in attack and put in a huge defensive effort. And broke straight through a tackle towards the end of the 1st half and got his hands free but the pass went awry or we would have scored from it.

I think that was more to do with the announcers voice. He seems to have a quiet voice. Also speaking about the announcer, did anyone hear who he said was our no 10 when he ran through the player list?

I know it was Hopkins but I had a text from a pie eater saying he could swear that it was announced as Tomkins?!



Mark is still growing in to his role on the tannoy anyway and I'm sure will continue to improve

I was calling Chris, Murphy all night because I thought he was annonced as that. Anyway they were great. My highlight of the evening was Deanos JTesque exorcet tackle near the end.

Which games were these that he won for us? buggered if I knew which they were for is very large contract?



Never seen yet one of these wonder signings come good? how many youngsters would his contract have covered?
