Quite, quite spiffing.



A tremendous effort from 1-17 as well as the coaching staff (Agar out, Agar out).

You couldn't pick fault with any of it (bar their scruffy tries), from Russell's brilliant kick returns, to Penny's exemplary high kick catches. From Hill's charges forward, to Ratchford's industry.



To score 28 unanswered points is superb, but to keep them scoreless for around an hour is EXCELLENT.



I was always confident at half-time, but THAT defensive stint on our own line for about 6 or 7 minutes in the second half, was the stuff of what good sides are made of.



I had a few bleats about Thaler, but he kept the game flowing. Well done.



That's the best I've spent with a £20 note, since buying a bottle of Islay malt from Aldi.

He certainly is and I agree that defensive effort was top drawer 5 or 6 sets? If they'd had gone over then......

Herculean effort 1st part of the 2nd half, 5 or 6 sets and they couldn't break us, Brown would have made a huge difference today but I'm not complaining.

Best side won on the day, thought your defence was very good all game not just the 10 min spell in 2nd half. Not sure about scruffy tries though. See you in a month for the return.

Real shame about Russell though. He's been one of our standouts this year but he can't seem to string many games together. Hopefully not a bad one but he definitely won't play Monday, gives Johnson a chance though and I'm sure he'll do a great job for us.

I thought there were periods when we seemed a bit disjointed as if not everyone had read the script & thank God for Sandow for putting us back on track.I think the big difference came when our forwards started to get on top in the second half probably helped by our improved fitness this season. A good,flowing game though & well done to both sides.

Wouldn't be unhappy with Johnson but could be Penny to FB Ormsby to wing?

I've never been a fan of "he can play there" type of players. If we have a proper fullback (which we do) then he should play.

I think Ratch could be fullback, moving to hooker and Johnson on bench coming in at full back.

Depends what threat TS feels exists with the big Hull pack. He could bring Philbin or Julian onto the bench, or even both and rest one of the props for the Wigan match.

Then again KR's tactics of getting the ball out wide early on almost worked so Ormsby could get a look in.



Typically I'd go for minimal changes, except it's Easter..... with Wigan on Friday.
