Without getting ahead of ourselves, does anyone know where this is scheduled to be held?



I know it's usually over here, but had heard something about perhaps switching the game Down Under, or perhaps to a neutral venue like Dubai. If we do get there I would prefer a home tie, to give us more chance of equalling the mighty Widnes' one victory in the competition.



Also who would people like to play if we get there? My preference would be South Sydney, although a Canterbury - Melbourne final appears to be on the cards.

If we were to get there Moran would make sure it was over here. He'd end up paying the difference of it being over in Aus to have it over here.

If we win the GF (and to be honest I don't think we'll even get there) I'll feel badly cheated if the WCC isn't over here after it has been so many times before.



I don't actually rate it that highly as a competition - albeit it's a decent enough one off match - but referring to my post in the Shaun Wane thread about wanting to see it all at least once, the WCC is part of that.

Someone want to dig up the similar thread called 2012 World Club Challenge.

last 2 have been at the home ground of the uk team so no reason why it wont be at the hj

A neutral ground thousands of miles from any RL fans would be a disaster, as very very few people actual travel that far for a one match special.



I'd love to see it over here, but I don't mind if it's over in Aus either, especially as the travelling and jetlag is the #1 reason the NRL teams state for losing it!
