I know we have got a thread on where we are all sat but I thought it would be good for People to post what they intend to do for the Wembley weekend. Are you staying for the weekend are you travelling down just for the day, where are you staying etc.



Mrs FB & 2 friends are travelling down in their car car on the Saturday morning leaving at 6:30am stopping off at Populars Truck stop at J20 of the M6 for a McDonalds breakfast & then straight down to Wembley.



We are staying overnight and coming back Sunday lunchtime. We haven't yet booked our hotel but will do later today, after the game we are having a meal in a nice restaurant recommended by H Yed.

Train down from WBQ, Train Back at 6 to Warrington. Then straight into Parr Hall for Adam Ant

going down on the day travel yet to be arranged as waiting for some funds as in process of moving back to warrington. But will go and come back same day hopefully go the pub at the bottom of the stadium where the coaches pull in and enjoy a few renditions of she wore at the leeds fans pulling in again

We will be travelling down on the day this time and staying overnight at the hotel premier in Harrow. Setting off at 6am from Broughton, Chester.....hopefully arrive at our hotel around 10.30am......throw our bags in the room and head straight to the Green Man beer garden to soak up the pre-match atmosphere.

Friday picking up an Aussie mate from the airport, Friday night having a couple of warm up beers, with him and the Radio Leeds team, Saturday getting up early getting down to Wembley, meeting up with my younger Bro, drinking beer.

Sunday recovering (quicker than i usually do) Sunday evening going to the airport to drop my mate off.

Train from WBQ at 8:20

Arrive at Euston at 10:08

Eat breakfast

Go the pub

Watch wire in

Train back at 7:30 from Euston

Travelling down on Saturday morning 6am start, staying at the Ibis Wembley Saturday night and drive home Sunday

a few beers friday night then up early sat morning for a mixed grill(Similar to what i do when off on my hols)taxi to wilderspool for coach.few beers going down to wembley.few beers inside the ground...and a few more on the way back..sunday out to welcome the team back then out on the lash...what a weekend

We have never gone by Car before and was wondering how long will it take to get to Wembley leaving Warrington around 7am with perhaps a 20 minute comfort stop on the way.

depends how fast you go..70mph you shud be there for 12..

Depends FB, my experience good day, no or little traffic problems, 3 hours you're looking at, worst by car, 6 hours, worst by coach though, bordering on 9 hours (two separate road closures).

Breakfast at the local 'spoons here in Winchester, train up to Waterloo, tube over to Marylebone, few beers and meet up with my 2 southern union fans, short hop up to Wembley on the train, then try and find our Bobby for a beer or two.



After the game head back into London for a few celebratory beers, then train back home.
