For those interested in seeing a bit more of Currie, the U20's match vs Castleford is now on the Wolves web site. He scored a hat trick and seemed to be involved in everything from the myopic eye of the highlights.



One thing that catches my eye though is the comparison with SL. The amount of time and space that the lads have compared to first grade football seems enormous. So its no wonder that the likes of O'Brien, Dwyer and Currie take a while to bed down at the higher level. Lets hope they can get enough game time and tutoring from the likes of Briers and Hodgeson to come through as regular players by SL 2013.

That's why its important to send players out on loan or dual registration to get experience

Couldn't agree more. Plus they will realise what fantastic training facilities, coaches and medical attention that they get at Wire compared to a lot of other clubs.

Obviously TS will restrict his opportunities but Ben has everything he needs to become a top SL player. Not that often you see a forward of his young years become so good so early.

Was watching highlights of the Salford game and when BC came into the picture on Salfords first try I actually though he was going to catch the Salford player. Showed a fair old lick of pace.

I couldn't believe how quick he was for a second rower, he was chasing back faster than Atkins and Williams.

Is Ben Currie , the new Mark Roberts?

No way is Williams the quickest at the club both Currie and Atkins skinned him, Atkins seems to be the quickest first teamer at the moment.



For a second rower to beat a winger for pace though?

Ben is going to be a special player, a once in a generation type i feel.
