It would guarentee a sell out at the HJ and a very healthy attendance at the DW. A nice way for both clubs to kick off the season.
This game should be for the Mike Gregory cup.
A meaningful match meaning the cup will have been hard won, not a game between 2 reserve teams.

Maybe even dusting off the old locker cup and renaming it the Gregory Locker Cup. After all he played for that many times himself. |

No but seriously I think the derbies for both of us against saints have enough spice to them with us and them being big rivals and the fact you havnt beat them for so long makes the games more exciting.
We need it so that every game between Wigan, Saints and Warrington sells out, that would be awesome. |
