When Rangi was a Cas player he attacked the head of a Featherstone player with the purpose of doing him serious harm and succeeded.



He got off very lightly then. This was similar in that again his purpose was to inflict serious harm on his opponent and again he succeeded.



This time the punishment is more appropriate although even a 7 game ban is better than what his victims have to suffer.

Doesn't matter who it was, no player should be put in that dangerous position. It shows a total lack of respect for each other, and he deserves that ban.
