| That made me laugh that much I now have coffee running out of my nose.
Hard luck for him but is very poetic justice for him and his desire to win things.

Think Myler would end up looking like Andy Greg on the portly scale if he had to eat that much humble pie. Can't see it nor could I see him working well with Reg as he wouldn't want to play second fiddle.
Think for me this is playing into Leeds hands as he had the potential to counteract Mcguire.
Would hope for a Leeds win anyway, just doesnt sit right Melbor (sorry there I go again) Warrington winning anything.

| Strange team selection by Smith, but then as the y fans say he knows best.
First time in history I have ever wanted Leeds to win something.
Hope Myler enjoys his view from the private box as he no doubt did last year

| So that's twice he's been to Wembley, paid for by Warrington, to watch the Cup Final! Oh, the irony.

| Personally feel sorry for the guy. He went to Wire to win trophies, who can blame him, we aern't exactly pulling up any tree's in that department! We got a good sum of money for a kid with only one super league season under his belt which really helped out the club in other areas.
I don't have the same hatred towards him as some others do and honestly would have loved to see him play in the final. I do also have a small soft spot for Wire having lived there for 3 years whilst at Uni. (a very very small spot mind!) Tony Smith must be worried that he'll get targeted by Leeds and that he can't/won't be able to handle it. Doesn't install much confidence into him & will be interesting to see if he throws his toys out or really knuckles down to prove Smith wrong!
Just hoping for a good game, always love the CC final.

Na think it's hilarious, any player who stops trying the second a bigger clubs comes knocking deserves the abuse they get, Hodgy is the blueprint for how it should be handled IE with good grace and honour towards the fans and board of the club his valid contract is with.

Where did that money go?
Otherwise I agree with you TOMMO2.
Players dropped for big games in this way often use it to motivate themselves and come back bigger and better the next time around.

| I don't feel remotely sorry for him. I find it hilarious... stuff him... he got a good pay packet out of it... and that's what he wanted. At his age he could have been patient and stuck around but the big bucks tempted him. I'm so pleased he went anyway as I feel we wouldn't have got Holdsworth... and following that we perhaps wouldn't have got Patten. So Myler... or Holdsworth and Patten... a no brainer for me and we got the better deal and a rake of cash to boot. He'll be as much of a spectator as I am tomorrow... Brilliant !!!
