Toulouse was before today considered the only realistically prospective challenger to Toronto. But on the basis of today's performance, Toulouse cannot expect to beat Toronto in the final.



So expect Toronto to be promoted to Super League for the 2020 season, and the Ottawa and New York bids to be strengthened in its wake.

Fully expect them to be promoted,as long as Estone and his masters permit them entry, but if they expect the same then either Fev or Toulouse could get them in a one off match, much like London last year.

Featherstone is very unlikely to beat Toulouse in Toulouse next weekend. In the off chance that they do defeat Toulouse, Featherstone will have no chance against Toronto in the final.

If Toulouse play like they did in the 1st half, Fev will win. Swinton have won there Jean, so it's not impossible...but I agree Toronto won't lose to either team in the final.

This could be an interesting thread to revisit in a couple of weeks.

Unless they have the off chance.
