Anyone know if tomorrows Castleford v Leeds final is anywhere near a sell out and what are the chances of turning up on the day and being able to buy a ticket?

the Club Wembley tier is an issue the RFL can't fix (hopefully we can get out of that deal when the 10 years is up in 2017) but I can't understand why for every other event the RFL always sell the bottom tiers/stands facing the camera first before opening the rest of the ground up, yet for the CC Final they put the whole ground on sale.



it would look far better if all the fans on the top tier were all down one side and on the ends (like at the World Cup semi)



the amount of price bands also doesn't help, do we really need 7 different price bands? you end up with stupid scenarios where thousands of fans are sat in the rafters in the 'cheap' seats, while rows below them are completely empty!

I'd also add in that the 2 week gap between the Semi and Final isn't helping get the crowds in, spoken to several 'casual' Leeds & Cas fans this week who aren't going because transport and hotels were too expensive (or their perception was they'd left it too late) if you gave these people 4-6weeks gap to make plans I reckon they'd go.



It also gives the clubs little time to make and sell merchandise. 2 weeks barely gives the clubs time to do a bit of 'Wembley' embroidery/heat-sealing on garments never mind buy extra stock in.

I decided to stay home and watch it on telly instead .... basically because the Mrs insisted I mow the grass after we went to Ikea. Not that I'm under the thumb or anything.



Cas have been a little disappointing. I dont support either side but I was hoping they would tear Leeds a new one.

Crowd 77K odd according to the tannoy, surely they are including the 10K or so Club Wembley fans who don't attend in that number!??

you would think. Looking at the crowd I would have said nearer 60000.
