There seem to be a lot of clubs with current stadium developments & plans and I was just wondering how they were coming along, rather than asking on each board:

Castleford: 15,000 stadium planned at Glasshoughton



Catalans: New stand at the Gilbert Brutus.



Hull KR: East-stand extension / New North Stand planned.



Leeds: New South Stand planned.



London: Are they staying at The Stoop for 2012?



Saints: 18,000 stadium to be ready for 2012 season.



Salford: 12,000 stadium to be ready for 2012 season.



Wakefield: developments to bring Belle Vue to required standard / new Stadium?



Warrington: Two corners to be completed for 2012(?).

Featherstone: Moving the pitch / Two new stands from Scarborough.



Halifax: All completed?



York: I've just seen the proposal for a new 9k stadium on another thread.



Oldham: Is the ground is currently being developed?



Anyone I've missed?

Saints and Salford both coming along nicely. An Oldham fan I sometimes see at work said nothings happening there, saying that he's the most sceptical person I know.

I thought they had settled on putting a corregated iron roof over the existing away end as a compromise?

Much of the work on the site is complete in terms of building and landscaping etc ready for handover hopefully by the end of the month. Interior fixtures and fittings are being worked on and are set to be completed by the end of the year or before. There is a new planning application in at the moment to secure permission to clad the remaining parts of the stadium with 50% perforated cladding, these areas weren't originally going to be clad but will be by the start of next season.

Cas ground - planning permission granted at new site but awaiting submission of outline planning application on existing ground (Wheldon Rd/Probiz Colliseum) to build Supermarket. If planning permission is granted funding will be released to commence building of new ground at Glasshougton.

+ the developers need a (supermarket) partner AND considering there are other, better placed, less problamatic sites also available........

You thought wrong.

They are working with the supermarket partner in the planning permission stages.

Indeed, Tesco are the end user but they are looking at a number of sites, as you would expect, in Castleford.
