We have three or four more in the pipeline, and a meeting with the club to discuss the location of them within the new stadium.

| Nice of you to commemorate our wins there (especially the 2010 one) with a cherry and white hooped flag.

suggestion re hanging the flags in the new ground.
Rope and hoist system.
Basically have hoists between each set of verticle posts. You then connect them via rope both ends of which have ties on them which allows you to lower the rope to attach flags then hoist the flags via the rope and hoist, you then tie the rope to the rope tie and the flags are in raised position.
Should be cheap and quick to do and avoids health and safety worries of fans climbing up ladders to attach flags
Many people have washing lines set up like the above.
Link with pictures below on how it works

To stop the flags blowing around excessively you put small weights on the bottom corners of the flags. This would allow them to blow in the wind but not excessively. Sea fishing weights may do the job.

Remember you could not tie the bottom of the flags down as this would in essence create a sail like cladding which the stadium cannot take structurally (hence our perforated cladding)

Thats because yours are placed on the stadium cross beam along the roof line, which would be structurally very strong and therefore able to take wind loadings caused by creating what is in effect a large sail.
The girders at Saints may not be able to handle the loadings of flags that are completely tied down. That is something Saints and the flag guys would need to find out. Probably by speaking to a senior engineer who was part of stadium construction.

They are attached to the hand rails on the gantry (walkway) just below the roof, but the stand is enclosed so we don't have the problems that you will have at Saints. If you space the flags and rope them top & bottom you will probably be o.k.

| This was one of the original designs on which the flag was based. It's based on the heritage colours for those unable to tell the difference between red and white and blue and chocolate brown.
