I'm coming up from London Friday with my 11-year-old son for our first (and last) visit to KR and would appreciate some advice. What's the best place to stand with a kid to see the game, or should we just go to the front anywhere?

Get there early and stand in front of the stand next to the players dugout. He'll be delighted especially when they warm up.

As it's a sellout, you won't be able to change ends at half time and guarantee a good spot.



Best to get there early, find a spot at the front (giving a good view of all the pitch), put the kid on the wall, and don't move.

Anywhere on the wall is fine, mate, but you need to be on early.



When I say early you really need to be on at least 70 mins before kick off.

Way to quote half a sentence and change the meaning.

Unless he's tall avoid the popular side and get there early. If you want a spot on the wall then get there a good couple of hours before kick off to get a position. If you leave it later than that you'll be pushing it. Getting in the paddock though underneath the main stand is always a good idea though if you have youngsters with you. I'd avoid standing in the away end unless you've got a strong constitution and your lad is resistant to disease.
