| It is too easy to be somewhat disappointed by the performance over the last three weeks and last night in particular.
Any genuine Saints fan who appreciates good fast open rugby must be concerned at the recent demise of our team.
But let's not allow that to prevent us from giving some credit to an understrength Giants side.
In a previous era if we had sent a 'reserve' side to Wigan at the height of their form we would have be generous with our praise if they had done so well.
So two related points:-
1..Well done Huddersfield - you did yourselves pround.
2..Not good enough Saints - you have some important matches coming up and a vast improvement is neeeded.
Cheers
Ch.

| Credit where credit is due:-
Natahn Brown you have worked wonders at Hudd's.
I think the Hudd's defensive work effort is incredible. Their line speed (although off-side a lot) was amazing and they swarm round in the tackle.
Also the collision they seem to win that every time.
All-in-all a fantastic effort from them.
Saints
We look a very tired team 2 points is 2 points but has the extra minutes players have had to do to cover for injuries taken it's toll or are we just playing to poor game plans and tactics from Potter - it's a worry!

| we dont appear to have any game plans and senior players have just gone missing ! I wonder if the is a major problem in the squad with Potter because to be totally honest I've never witnessed such a demise in a Saints side ever.

'" They deserve it considering how many players you had missing the effort (and the reward for the effort) was massive and the fans should be proud of the way the team played last night.
Good luck for next week!

| I've given opinions on here and Redvee about Saints performance, but I thought Huddersfield were excellent again yesterday and have been all season. They deserve success this season and I thoroughly hope they smash Warrington next week. They are well organised defensively, nicely structured in attack and have pace and flair. It's a perfect recipe for success. I think we'll be seeing more and more of Huddersfield for the next few years, it's boom time over there right now.

It reminds me of the 1978-79 season. We started off a bit unconvincing, lost 3 on the run in mid November, then lost our way.
Our team then had a similiar profile to the present day team. Young players (Holding, Peters etc) and old players, like Geoff Pimblett, who although had been a great servant to the club (and still is via the Past Playes Association) had passed their shelf life.
