Seen the interview on sky sports app. He states he is feeling good enjoying his job and wants to stay with Leeds 1 more year. He has told the club and is hopeful he will be with us next year.



What is everyone's opinion.



I think he is having a great year and is someone we would miss in our team. For me the only forward we have who actually hurts the opposition in attack and defence

I'm happy for this. He is still playing well and definitely adds something to the team. As long as this is the case, keep him. It also gives us one more year to find/develop a player ready for SL.

predicted this would happen a few weeks ago.

He's playing well enough, but if he does stay I wouldn't renew Kirke's contract, Or Moore's contract (actually when is Moore OOC?), and give Singleton, and Baldwinson their places in the squad.

Actually, I think Kirke is deserving of a new contract at the moment. He's really having a good year this year. I can't see Moore being renewed though. Singleton will start to get more game time next season and Baldwinson will probably get a squad number and a loan. I predict Gotcha will bitch and moan all year about how he should be given a chance and that we don't have a youth policy at Leeds, as Stevie Ward puts Hardaker through a gap and Watkins scores in the corner to win the Grand Final, maybe.

Great news. I would give him another year without a second thought. He's in great form and has been a fantastic servant for Leeds.

I get that but IMO average players like Kirke and Moore are blocking his development, not players like Kylie and JP.



Both Kylie and JP are having immense seasons and if they want to go around again, I'm more than happy to watch them do so as they're not many (if any) playing better in the league at the moment.



If they're good enough, they're good enough whether old or young.

At the moment Kylie is winning another years contract on merit rather than sentiment.
