Poor performance tonight made a very average side look good. We're halfway through the season and we have only won one game more than we have lost. Think a top 4 Finish is beyond us now. And I car'nt see us winning from 5th or less again

My mistake won 7 lost 5 still not good enough. On paper we have an easier second half of season but not afford to lose more than a couple or were out of it

I don't think we were bad, just hull very good.

I think we were fairly poor, hull were alot better and did good but that was not a good Leeds performance, especially in defence

The 5 losses. Wigan away, saints away, bradford away, hull away, hudds at home.



Bar bradford, all those teams are battling round the top 4 and any away game at a top 4 side you will do well to win.



Of the top teams we've played at home, we've beaten warrington and catalans but lost to hudds.



Look at some of those losses. Wigan away was the week before the WCC, it was also the week after wigan had lost their first game to hudds so they were highly motivated to win. Saints away, no team in super league would have been able to beat them the way they played that night. Bradford away they were potentially playing their last ever game (as some would have us believe) by hook or by crook they'd have that game.



The long winded point is, bar the manner of defeat to saints no loss has been especially unacceptable or worrying or anything out of the ordinary. Just circumstances.



We'll be there or thereabouts at the end of the season.

It was far from dire.



We were outenthused by a Hull side coming off a 2 week break.



We played in tough conditions in an elimination match which went down to the wire 6 days ago.



Top 4 is still up for grabs.



I'd be surprised if Hull or Catalans ended up there which leaves 4 from 5.



They are also far from average. A decent, well organised side, who look very well coached. There pack would compete with most in SL

The defence was below par but the team was battered by a very agressive hull pack which put them on the back foot.



Remember we were well in the game and threatening a comeback until a couple of late tries added gloss to the scoreline.

Also, how encouraging is it for SL to have 7 sides who are genuinely able to beat each other at the top

Yeah, this is why, when you play away at these teams you have to play on top of your game to win. You go into these games with a key player outor slightly off you will get beaten and this is what has happened.



The likes of wigan and huddersfield have gone into some of these games and played at their best and this is why they are near the top.

You'd be surprised if Catalans made the four?

Hull played well , figured out how to beat us . Deserved the win . Well done to them . End of FAHCT .

Was a very good game . Lots of dodgy decisions and non-decisions for both sides , but none that would have affected the result (apart from maybe the forward pass ) .

I changed my opinion on them on their performance at Headingley too weeks ago. They were distinctly average and I think they'll lose too many games in England to finish above either Saints or Leeds who will probably compete for fourth.



Right now I'd predict:



Wigan

Wire

Hudds

Saints

Leeds

Catalans

Hull

Someone not deserving of being in the play offs.



Looking at that, 5th place might be a decent option which highlights why our play off system doesn't work as well as the NRL one.
