Good performance last week came at the right time, nice finish and assist.



Just depends on the long term viability at Leeds. He has struggled to break into the team. All depends how we move on from Smith. If we sign another centre, then there's hardly a sniff of first team rugby, as he will be jostling with Watkins.



It may be of benefit to him to secure first team rugby elsewhere. But more of the same for him can only help his chances.

Depends if they are making a marque centre signing.



If they are, no point in extending, let the lad rebuild his career elsewhere.



If there not then get him resigned. I still think the lad has the qualities. He certainly had them 2-3 years ago and looked a fine prospect.

May also be worth noting that he's still only 22, I forget that.

Yes good point. Gotcha also make a good point. Suppose it will depend on next years targets.. I suspect with Smith's exedus there'll be room to sign him and a top centre. Interestingley Senior mentioned after the game on Saturday that he's no problem being in the 2nd row next year if required....

Still not convinced he offers more than either Watkins or Ratu in the medium to long term personally, but that's just my opinion.

From reports, JJB mentioned at his Q&A last week that it took him nearly 2 years to get over his injury and Ash remarked that he's in the same boat. Difficult decision, especially considering what's coming through, but I'd like us to keep him for at least another season.
