Well I think we're quite a bit away from being classed as chokers, the list of games we "should" have won is a bit of a tough one.

The only game on that list which left me feeling "WTF happened there" was the HKR game, a truly awful performance, as for the rest of them, Roosters away, tough by anybody's standards, Cas did a number on us, best team won, no complaints there, Saints, even with 12 men for 78 mins we were always in it, Brisbane, lost in extra time to a team that ended up being one tackle away from this years champions and this years GF, a bloody great game that could have gone either way,

In summary, I think Mr Clark was trolling with the best of them !

I'm really looking forward to next season, IMO we're short a top class centre but we won't be a million miles away, it'll be interesting to see how you men cope without the level of experience you've just lost.

Id agree. Thought the GF was still avilable to Wigan until the last minute. Maybe he was trolling but it was just a strange label to attach unecessarily.

Maybe I'm being optimistic, but I've been posting on here since 2001 in various usernames (I drift away forget stuff and decide I can be bothered again) and I'm always interested in other fans perspectives on things that resonate with me about my love of Leeds. So, with regard to the chokers stuff, I thought it was fascinating that Phil (no really I'm not biased towards Wigan) Clarke should use that label to Wigan. If anything I'd have said the exact opposite about Wigan. The sense of entitlement to win means that they are terrible and graceless losers. From the Farrell big fat Garry schofield after match comment, to losing to 14 players last year. They think they should win. So chokers isn't a word I'd have used. But once you put the idea in people's heads .....

Look at the freefall Warrington have fallen into since losing back to back Grand Finals. Be interesting to see how Wigan react next year

So, I took Rhinos22's point and tried again with a 2016 thread on the possible impact of Clarke's label. And the thread got deleted! They will not even entertain the discussion on Clarke's comment. Now I may be a dog with a bone on this, but it would be massive if Schofield came out and called the Rhinos chokers. I for one would be spitting feathers, but even if they don't think it's a big deal - to delete the thread seems really petulant and one eyed.
