A few teams have these but we don't so I thought I'd start one





Couple I've heard round & about:



Andy Lynch from Bradford

Paul Sykes from Bradford

Bob Beswick from Halifax

Sika Manu from Melbourne



And out:



Sione Faumuina - Huddersfield

wouldnt mind beswick or lynch...



dont really want sykes weve got two quality centres already as for manu ive never really seen him play



id rather us keep faumuina.. he just needs to stop trying so hard!! and do his job

The Andy Lynch rumour seems to be the most likely to come about, it really would be great to have Andy back and to get Bob Beswick (immediately to overcome our lack of a recognised hooker), Sika Manu would be a great addition but not sure about Paul Sykes, over rated in my book and James Evan is a far better player and really hope we keep Sione, I do think his knockers will realise how good a player he is before much longer.

They would all be good for us!!!



I think sione will come good for us tho when it gets a bit warmer

Can't say I've seen Sika Manu too many times but from what I've seen he would be a very good player, and he's a NZ international too so he can't be that bad.



Another I heard a while back that I forgot about is Michael Knowles to come back at the end of the season, he would be an improvement over Clayton, who's out of contract I believe?



Does anyone know all the Cas players who come off contract at the end of this season, the ones I can think of are: Faumuina, Evans, Higgins and Clayton.

IMO We need to keep Dixon, Wainwright, Jones, Higgins, Feather, Boyle, Netherton and Ford possibly.



The rest I'm unsure about or certain that I want to be released. Evans counts on thte quota so it's whether we could find someone better than him at centre.

Sione being the only one who I think is miles away from earning another deal IMO.

Remember our overseas numbers will need to be reduced as well.



The current limit of 8 is reduced to 6. We have 7 so going on OOC players, we could only retain one of Evans and Faumuina.



So if Evans and Faumuina stay, someone else will have to make way. If one of them stays we can't bring another in.



However, given most SL teams will be having to lose 2, we're arguably in a better position than others in this respect.

Also on the OOC players, I would hope for an announcement soon on TM's future. He is also OOC at the end of this season so I expect we'll soon announce his retention and then start work on retaining the players he wants.

I hope and think TM will stay on. He's seen the rough times down here and now the good times are in sight I think he'll want to finish the job he's started.

He better bloody stay.

Can't see us getting rid of evans he has been very good for us.



We need to keep Dixon,Jones,Feather,Boyle,Netherton and Ford but i think we could better than Higgins and Wainwright: dont get me wrong they are decent players but that's all they are decent and if we wanna get up there with the best of them we need to strenghten our squad when possible so keeping these two in my eyes would be making do.
