If we opt to bring players in on Loan or Dual Reg, I'd imagine that'll be once the squad is finalised, and possibly after the start of pre season training, when Rhino and his staff can see any areas that need bolstering.



More interesting though is that we are yet to fill our quota spot.

Dont think filling the quota is that important TBH. Personally i would rather have Fairbank on a season long loan or even better as a permenant signing. Quality young player with a first class work ethic plus he wants to play for us if he cant get in the Giants first team.

Agree using the spot isn't massively important, If we brought the wrong player over it could be an expensive episode we could do without, but if the right man becomes available then why not.



Would be good to see Fairbank back, wasn't a fan at first but he got better as the season went on, obviously just needed a run of first team rugby to get going.

hit nail on head, bring in overseas player who costs twice as much in wages as u.k. player, could have two u.k. players of similar ability for the price.

unless of course a top overseas player becomes available at the right price.

I cant see that we have any money left to bring in a "top" quality quota player.



I understand that Bannister has several options. Hope he signs and then we have a completed squad in my eyes. We should have cover for most spots.

I would want 100k to play for Wakefield ....... because ther wont be much win bonus there ! but i would play for Fax for half A curly wurly and A packet of Sea Brooks Chesse N onion crisps ....

But seriously NO one is going to take him on at that price well not now Des is not at Barrow....

plus he would save on petrol as lives locally
