Why lock so many threads? Its a public forum

This forum has basically turned into a PR vehicle for the club and a hangout for numb nut Town fans. You cant really have a debate when any thread that goes against the club is usually locked. Constructive criticism can be good but only if people know it exists. The rent discussions getting locked i thought was a bit harsh especially after the article appeared in the courier and was in the public domain anyway. Not that i am having a go at the moderators.

Are you lot for real? Tortured Soul stops this site from becoming a Halifax Town trolling site. Do you want every post littered with crap that they post? One of their dead brains ran amok last night posting drivel on here, including the Mick Scott thread

. Unfortunately the site attracts wendyball fans with a mental age of 5 and therefore has to be moderated.

I do agree that sometimes the moderators seemingly step in because it appears they are simply bored of a thread or dont like them for personal reasons, then sometimes when topics move torwards slander and defamation they stand by and watch when they could and maybe should sometimes intervene earlier, its a no win situation sometimes, and its a busy forum



BUT.......



They dont do a bad job to be honest and i dont think its as easy as some posters think, its a public forum and fine line is trodden from time to time. Posters and mods are only human.

This thread was about/is about the soulfull one, however. to add to my origional post, power to all the mods, i for one think you all do a tricky yet vitally important unpaid, thankless task
