| Wonder what SL will be like in 20 years time......
Will it include TOLOUSE OLYMPIC RLFC; HIGHLANDERS RFLC; DUBLIN PRAWNS RLFC; MOSCOW MULES RLFC; ATHENS SPARTENS RLFC; KIEV COSSAKS RLFC; KAZAN TARTERS RLFC and even SERBIAN ASSASSINS RLFC and RHEINLAND IRONMASTERS RLFC and even poor old WIDNES & LEIGH LOSTBOYS RLFC in a two conferance 24 team set-up forming a real 'Pan-European' Superleague comp.....
What a choice for away travelling RL fans.... 
Mind you will be either playing for a team in the Heaven League or - though hope not - in the Hell League by then. Tough expect the 'Whippet & Flatcaps' fans will still complain that the RFL has ruined our 'great game' by allowing all this unfettered expansion outside their 'home towns'. Nowt change.....  |

Look plane and simple. It wont work. RU is the national sport in wales. People wont travel from all round wales to watch Celtic Crusaders. The crowds will eventually settle around a couple of thousand. Only reason people aroudn bridgend are entertaining the idea is because the welsh RU don't want them so they feel betrayed.
You can tell there still rugby union fans at heart by the way they attacked Brian Moore after his comments.
I'll say it again whats the point in expanded into a small town in wales?

They already are  people who post on this board do.
Just because Union is the national sport in Wales doesn't mean the Celtic Crusaders wont be a success. And it certainly shouldn't mean we shouldn't try to establish a club in Wales. |

On a Personal note i would watch CC
lets look at union whos is the best region with loads of cash Ospreys so would prob be the only one to watch then it will get boring
National team 6 nations sides where poor last year
how many players will come from union to league eill have to wait and see
how many league players went north cuz there was nowt in wales for them i think they would have played at CC if they where up and running then
I belive that they will survive
OK maybe we will have poor crowds to start didnt the warriors till they played the likes of wasps
how many SL Clubs have a big away following i was told leeds take about 2500 away not a lot seeing as they been around for years
