| I agree Milly I dont think any of the leagues will pan out based on this years promotion/relegation, How can it?
If the RFL want sumer rugby in place for next summer, then theres going to be an influx of teams into NWC that oppose summer rugby, aswell as the ones that want to go the other way....I don't think it will have a massive effect on the ability for NWC to run a league as per normal next year, but there are gonna be massive changes in personnel i would suspect.
All in all I dont think this transition is going to be quite as fluid as what the RFL think especially at a Local Level, and may take 3/4 years before there are settled leagues in both winter and summer....But as long as theres 26 men on a field and a referee in the middle come 2.30 pm on a saturday afternoon then I'll be a happy man!
=#FF0000Congratulations to West Bank, Well deserved and done in emphatic style by the sounds of it, See you at OT

It does make me wonder if the amateur game isn't a winter sport for a reason?
The start of the summer music festivals are underway - Glastonferry today. Wonder how many games will get conceded when V, Reading & Leeds etc get in the way? I know our lot are into their music festivals.
Stag dos - not necessarily a pub crawl round town anymore. A full weekend (at least) away, possibly abroad?
I think it will only get worse. and if the RFL kick you out for conceding where do you go then, once the winter season has been dismantled (which is what I feel they are aiming for).
Signed,
Negative Nelly!

| Tuesday night
Orrel st James vs west bank. Wb will be looking to bounce back after a unfortunate defeat to clock face.
Woolston vs adlington. Adlington won on on Saturday but can't see them traveling if they do woolston will win by 40+.
I have a feeling both games won't go ahead.

| What a farce this league has turned out to be, utterly pathetic. Taking nowt away from West Bank, deserved winners
We play 2 tough games against HFH - yet they concede here. Jokers
We play 2 tough games against Dalton - yet they concede the other week. Jokers
We play a tough game against Ince - yet they concede games in the following weeks. Jokers
We ply 2 tough games against Latchford - yet they concede other games
Adlington have also conceded games, Orrell have, Pats have. Jokers
Then there is the situation with Maries which is a joke as well.
Utter load of plop, does my head in. We have played games this year with half a side for various reasons but we still played.

| sad day when a div two side give up a local derby, but this year has started to become a farce and with the leagues going to have to change(through teams moving to summer) I can see next year being as bad or even worse.

| St Pats have conceded Saturday's match so our season has fizzled to an end. That's our last two home fixtures, our last two chances to get some much needed funds into the club, both conceded. 3 home games the opposition have conceded all affecting our revenue. Not right, not fair and not happy!
Still, promotion for the 5th consecutive season (depending on what happens) - well done Woolston!
