Big week this for Cobras, over the past two seasons we have played and lost 3 times to Hindley (and each time they were deserved winners) and never by more than 3 points and in one instance only by 1???....great games everytime too!!!! They start as favourites but with it being at ours you never know??



Rochdale mayfield are on a run I feel so they should take the points, trust me they aint the team that started the last campain more the team that finished it and they will be there or there abouts at the end if season!!



Eccles and NSL seem to be strugling with numbers??????



Saddleworth V Waterhead will be VERY tasty, but Waterhead aint the team they were last season so I fancy Saddleworth!

We are, but its no shock as the team has only just been thrown together 3 weeks prior to our first game, we competed very well with only 12/13 players against West Bank who themselves played in Div2 last season. So we are taking many positives and areas to work on over the next few weeks.



We are on the look out for a few more players though. We should be ok this weekend against BB.

There was no disrespect meant in my msg Hogan just what I picked up on in an earlier thread and I hope the numbers get better for you, you’re a good set of lads (well the ones that were with the Riversiders who played us earlier I the year) at least you played with 12/13 many wouldn’t!!!!!

None taken Ben! I have always been of the view that if you hit 13 then you should honour the game.

That WBS side is a shadow of the side that has played in Div 2. They have lost at least 5 lads and are relying on keen local lads who haven't played before.

we definatly need too step up saturday we were shocking against mayfeild just kepthanding the ball over time and time again. Fair play too Mayfeild though they played to a gameplan and there completion was very good and kept turning us round time and time again. We got a few lads too come back in 2 ong term injurys so we will take a while too get going im not worried yet we willcome good. Not playing this week last game of the cricket season then its back too rugby and concentrating on that

Heard that Thatto Heath 3rd team has been put in our league (but cannot be promoted???) for their first season together? If this is true then i will be majorly p1553d off, when we disbanded and regrouped 2/3 seasons ago, we were put into division 6 and had to win each league to advance up the leagues, and now they just get put in our league without going through all that?

But then we have been promoted with you the last two seasons only finishing 3rd in both both years so a bit of common is a good thing, how good are they??? If they are good I would rather em be in 4 than in 6 with our 2nds if im honest!!!!
