Really looking forward to the game. Always found Leigh a very arrogant and unlikable club even years ago (you'd think they'd been in SL the last decade rather than away from it).

Possibly - who knows? But we do probably only need two wins from the last four games, to get there. So, with HKR and Leeds away, and Batley & Huddersfield at home, those two wins might be a possibility.

Well while you are at it, I have always hated visiting Hull KR, probably due to the tattoed thug with his 2 year old daughter on his shoulders wanting to take on the Leigh fans visiting that day. Or the final where HKR fans shamed themselves by fighting each other in the stands (at Rochdale or Bury I think). So basically over the years you are the club I have hated the most, and no I still haven't forgotten the floodlight failure that was fixed 15 minutes after the ref had called the game off when you were losing 18-0. Cheats and thugs are the words that immediately come to mind when I play word association and HKR comes up.

The only time I was worried at a rugby league game was at the old Hilton park playing for the right to play the plate final in 97. I remember vividly the Leigh fans were like rabid animals. Ripping there old ground (the concrete barriers separating fans) to get at us. Whilst at the same time hurling pints of pi$$ at us. So a two year old offering you out hardly compares.

It used to be shocking going watching any of the hull games in the 80s,had our coach bricked many times but I also remember leigh had their fair share of idiots back then as well and I'm sure other clubs had idiots.But I'd like to think times have changed and plenty of ale being suped plus plenty of banter being thrown about without it going back to the 80s mentality

I remember going their and wining the league and every rovers fan at the end went on the pitch and called for the players to come out and no problem with Leigh fans but the pitch was full red and white all over thats when we had the likes of Broadhurst and Garry prohm

Never had any problems with KR fans & in fact had a good craic with some down at Cardiff for Magic Weekend when it seemed like I was the only Leigh Fan there.



Widnes & Wigan are a completely different matter.
